800,000 doses of Sinovac vaccine arrive, 1 million more coming next month
Another batch of Sinovac vaccine has arrived in Thailand, Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said on Saturday.
In a post on Facebook, Anutin said the latest batch of 800,000 doses would be distributed to medical personnel nationwide, as well as to people who live in Bangkok’s hotspot -- Bangkhae districr.
The minister added that another one million doses of the vaccine would arrive in April.
He said his ministry planned to buy more than 5 milliion doses of vaccine from Sinovac. The order was under discussion between the government and the company.
