Thirteen Bangkok districts face heavy rain and flooding risks on October 3–4, 2026, according to the Hydro-Informatics Institute, whose broader October 2–4 outlook forecasts isolated heavy rain, particularly in eastern, central and northern parts of the capital. The Hydro-Informatics Institute also warned on October 2 that rain could continue in Bangkok and surrounding provinces. Households still affected by floodwater in Bangkok were urged to remain vigilant. The institute’s daily forecast graphic for October 2–4 identifies eight districts at risk on October 3 and another five on October 4.

Eight eastern Bangkok districts face heavy rain risk on October 3

The Hydro-Informatics Institute forecasts isolated heavy rain in eastern Bangkok on October 3, with the following eight districts identified for vigilance:

- Watthana
- Bang Kapi
- Suan Luang
- Bueng Kum
- Khan Na Yao
- Wang Thonglang
- Saphan Sung
- Prawet

Five central and northern Bangkok districts on watch for October 4

The Hydro-Informatics Institute identifies five districts in central and northern Bangkok as areas to watch for heavy rain and possible flooding on
October 4:

- Bang Sue
- Chatuchak
- Dusit
- Phaya Thai
- Din Daeng

The ThaiWater website provides flood tracking, maps showing areas under flood watch over the next 24 and 48 hours, and accumulated rainfall risk maps covering three days ahead. A dedicated Bangkok map allows residents to monitor heavy rain and flooding in the capital. 

ThaiWater also offers nationwide rainfall forecasts, general weather information and accumulated rainfall totals, including which provinces have recorded the heaviest rain. Information on provincial water conditions and reservoir storage across Thailand is available through the website or downloadable app.
