Thai troops raise national flag after reclaiming territory from Cambodia in Ta Phraya, Sa Kaeo
The First Army Area reports that Task Force 11 has regained control of part of Khlong Phaeng village in Ta Phraya district, erecting barbed wire and raising the Thai flag over territory previously seized by Cambodian forces.
The First Army Area Operations Centre on Tuesday received a report from the Burapha Task Force at 4pm. Task Force 11 had launched a military operation and successfully regained control of parts of Ban Khlong Phaeng, Ta Phraya district, placing barbed wire along the secured perimeter.
Thai soldiers raised the Thai national flag over Thai sovereign territory that had been seized by Cambodian forces — a piece of land that Thailand has now taken back, the report said.
