National Artists and orchestra join the reception programme

The Government House reception programme also includes performances by National Artists and music from the Sorkrao Symphony Orchestra, bringing cultural heritage and orchestral music into the evening’s entertainment.

The reception is organised under the theme “Thailand Welcome The World”. The government’s cultural showcase combines contemporary Thai music with traditional artistic expression to present the country’s creativity to international delegates.

Nene’s appearance places young Thai talent at the centre of the reception. It is a combination of a teenage rock performer, National Artists and a symphony orchestra as an effort to project both Thailand’s modern identity and its cultural roots, while drawing attention to the creative economy.
