Under the MoU signed by Manop Sangiambut, executive vice president & head of international banking business, Wholesale Banking Group, Siam Commercial Bank, and KZW's managing director Nyo Myint, both also aim to provide more extensive business cooperation in response to AEC.

SCB was earlier received the permission to open a representative office in Myanmar, where Bangkok Bank has made presence felt for two decades.

Earlier, Kasikornbank also offered similar remittance service, aiming to serve migrant workers in Thailand which are numbered over 1 million.
