Meet Harmony, a sex robot who knows how to be jealous

Meet Harmony, a sex robot who knows how to be jealous

At a glance, Harmony looks like any other sex doll produced by US-based sex doll manufacturer RealDoll. However, underneath her silicone skin, Harmony has wires and circuit boards that help her to act like a human.

Slated to be launched at the end of this year, Harmony 2.0 is said to be the prototype of the robotic version of RealDoll’s sex dolls.

According to The Guardian, Harmony is able to tell jokes, quote Shakespeare, remember the owner’s birthday and hold a conversation about music, movies, or books.

Priced at US$15,000, the sex robots are also programmed to satisfy their owners by knowing their favorite sex positions and expressing jealousy.

RealDoll founder Matt McMullen explains that Harmony’s personality is customizable, based on the owner’s preferences.

McCullen said that the sex robot was not developed to replace human-to-human relationships.

"She is a machine, not a person," he stressed, adding that the company had created the robot for people who cannot interact with other people.
