Ratchanok bows outs of Malaysian Open
Ratchanok Intanon’s campaign in the Malaysia Open came to an end yesterday after she was beaten by China’s He Bingjiao 17-21 17-21 in the semi-finals.
The world No 4 has lost on all four they have met. The Chinese will take on world No 1 Tai Tzu Ying of Taiwan in the final today. Tai ousted Pusarla V Sindhu of India 21-15 19-21 21-11 in the other semi-finals.
Ratchanok and other Thai players will next enter the Indonesia Open, a World Tour Super 1000 level, which kicks off in Jakarta on Tuesday. |– The Nation
