Chevron (Thailand)'s country chairman and general manager for products Adrian Bendeck said the sharp fall in the price of 95-octane petrol had made it more attractive for motorists with vehicles that need non-gasohol fuel.
"We currently provide ULG95 with Techron additive in more than 80 Caltex service stations around the country. We plan to expand this to 120 Caltex stations selling ULG95, and may increase the number even further if consumption increases.
"A large number of customers have asked us to keep on offering ULG95 because their vehicle specifications require pure high octane petrol. We plan to continue meeting this demand," he said.
