Last week's Ford Focus test-drive talked, among other things, about the car's Active City Stop feature, saying it does not work at speeds under 15km/h.

The Active City Stop system, which detects vehicles in front and automatically applies the brakes to prevent a collision, actually works at speeds of up to 15km/h – above which it is automatically disengaged – and it doesn’t work with pedestrians or motorcycles yet.
