Trend Micro joins forces with business alliances to unveil cloud computing security solutions at Thailand’s first Cloudsec Conference 2013.
Trend Micro, together with its business alliances, organised Thailand’s first and leading conference on cloud computing security “Cloudsec Conference 2013” under the “have a safe journey” concept. The conference aimed to provide guidelines for managers and users of cloud computing to apply best practices and proven technologies from around the world to ensure their safe transformation from conventional physical computer systems to virtual systems and finally to the cloud in an efficient and effective manner.
"The Cloudsec Conference brought together some of the world’s renowned industry leaders and cyberspace experts to share their knowledge and valuable experience. Highlight topics included preventive guidelines for Cyber Threats, Consumerisation, Data Privacy & Protection, Security Management, Big Data Security and Cybercrime & Law Enforcement," said William Tan, country manager of Trend Micro, Thailand and Indo-China.
The conference also featured exhibition booths of leading business alliances displaying advanced cyber security systems to boost customer confidence and urge industry leaders, end-users and industrial organisations to adopt cloud computing systems, focusing on the three key areas of Consumerisation, CLOUD and Cyber Threats.
The CLOUDSEC Conference 2013, held on June 12, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, received strong cooperation from IT and security business alliances such as VMware, Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), SANS Institute, HP Networking, INFOR, Blue Coat and NetApp, and attracted a large number of participants.
