Viber's 'Hold & Talk' now available for Windows Phone users

Viber, a leading mobile communications platform offering free messaging and HD-quality phone calls, Tuesday announced its latest Viber update for Windows Phone.
The new Viber 4.2 combines new features and enhancements for Windows users. The most interesting feature is called Hold & Talk that lets users send instant voice messages.
Hold & Talk allows users to communicate almost instantly by holding down the button, beginning message, and the recipient can hear what they are saying right away.
“Viber users love the speed, simplicity, and freedom that the app provides, allowing them to communicate however they like – freely,” said Talmon Marco, CEO of Viber.
“With the latest version of Viber, we are pleased to bring one of our most popular features to Windows Phone users – Hold & Talk – a convenient way to communicate with your friends whenever you like.”
Windows Phone users can enjoy a number of other enhancements that make communicating with Viber even more convenient, including:
- A new standalone sticker menu making it easier than ever to add stickers to conversations
- Design improvements, including a new call screen and default background
- Faster conversation loading and other performance enhancements.
