Bangkok in a Bugaboo
City strolling just got easier for travelling parents as Sofitel So has partnered with Dutch mobility brand, Bugaboo, to launch a new, stylish stroller service in Southeast Asia. From this month, Sofitel So Singapore and Sofitel So Bangkok will provide guests with complimentary access to Bugaboo strollers. Parents can now avoid the hassle of transporting strollers from home, and instead enjoy the freedom to explore two of Southeast Asia’s most diverse cities. The Bugaboo Stroller Service is the latest addition to the child-friendly options at the properties including baby cots, bathtubs, potties, bottle steriliser and warmer as well as a Kids Club and nanny service.
Partnership to boost tourism
Etihad Airways and Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) are now strategic partners, following the signing of an agreement between the national airline of the United Arab Emirates and Thailand’s travel organisation to boost tourism in Thailand. Under the new agreement, the Abu Dhabi-based airline and TAT will jointly promote travel to Thailand from priority markets including the United Arab Emirates, UK, Ireland, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, South Africa, Iran and Kuwait. The agreement was signed at Etihad Airways-Alitalia Pavilion at Expo Milan 2015. Etihad operates four flights daily between Abu Dhabi to Bangkok, and one flight daily between Abu Dhabi and Phuket in Thailand’s South.
