The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) urged people, particularly drivers of small cars, to refrain from travelling through flooded areas. High water could cause drivers to lose control, lead to engine problems or create other hazards.
The BMA advised motorists facing flood-related road disruption in Bangkok to check traffic and water conditions before setting out, avoid inundated routes and follow officials’ directions.
