Thai and Israeli Prime Ministers discuss via phone

On November 1, at 5:00pm, Thailand's Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin had a phone conversation with Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The Thai Prime Minister extended his condolences for the loss of innocent lives, injuries, and abducted civilians in the conflict since October 7.

Srettha also expressed concern about the well-being of Thai nationals in Israel and the safety of abducted Thai civilians. He sought assurances from the Israeli side regarding the care of those who chose to remain in Israel.

The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to Israeli authorities for their support in facilitating evacuation flights for Thai nationals over the past two weeks. In response, Netanyahu assured that Thai workers in Israel would receive proper care and highlighted their valuable contribution to Israel's agricultural sector.

In addition, both Prime Ministers exchanged views on the current situation and the development of the ongoing conflict in Israel and Gaza Strip.
