What: Annual light and digital art festival

What: Singing, dancing and street performances by independent artists

What: Soft opening of a new urban lifestyle community space in heritage building with art exhibition, workshop and street food

What: Screening of documentary about revival of cycling culture in the Netherlands

What: Visitors float their krathongs at 34 Bangkok public parks to celebrate the festival of lights and honour the water goddess. Biodegradable krathongs are encouraged.

8. Bangkok River Festival
What: Celebrations of Loy Krathong Festival at 10 major piers in Bangkok. Concerts, cultural performances, art exhibitions and street foods are among the main features.

9. Suan Luang Rama IX Park Floral Fair
What: Annual flower show to welcome the cool season at Bangkok’s largest park.
When: December 1 to 10, 8am-7pm
Where: Suan Luang Rama IX Park, Prawet district
10. Vijit Chao Phraya
What: Light and sound shows along the Chao Phraya River to celebrate the year-end and highlight riverside attractions such as Rama VIII Bridge, Wat Arun, Wichai Prasit Fort, Memorial Bridge and River City Bangkok. Spectacular fireworks and world-class special effects included.
