Vertiv unveils cutting-edge customer experience center in Thailand

Vertiv, a US-based provider of equipment and services for data centres, has unveiled its latest state-of-the-art customer experience centre in Bangkok, recognising the growing demand for high-efficiency, intelligent critical infrastructure solutions for Thailand.

The facility aims to provide customers with a first-hand experience of a wide array of data center infrastructure solutions and technologies, guided by Vertiv’s team of experts, a company press release said. 

The facility is the newest addition to Vertiv’s customer experience centres across Asia. Other facilities are located in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and Australia. 

The main feature of the customer experience centre in Bangkok is the Vertiv SmartRow Plus micro data centre solution. This fully integrated, row-based solution combines power, thermal management, monitoring and infrastructure management, as well as security features in a compact design that can be easily expanded as compute demands increase. 

“The digital landscape in Thailand is undergoing unprecedented transformation,” said Pichet Ketruam, managing director for Vertiv in Indochina. “As the country prepares to transform itself into a ‘smart nation’, 5G, artificial intelligence and the Internet of things will soon play a big part in enabling new technologies. To succeed, businesses must adapt and transform their infrastructure to support the data and bandwidth required. Vertiv is here to support local organisations in their digital transformation initiatives,” he said.

“At the customer experience centre, visitors can schedule a live demonstration of our solutions and consult with our local experts on their own specific challenges, and learn about solutions that best fit their business goals,” he added.
