PTT offers green bonds on forest conservation project
Oil and gas conglomerate PTT Plc and four commercial banks on Wednesday (July 15) jointly announced the launching of green bonds for PTT’s forest conservation project.
The offering has been certified by the Climate Bonds Initiative (CBI) in recognition of the company's consistent efforts in its forest rehabilitation programme.
PTT has appointed Bank of Ayudhya, Siam Commercial Bank, Kasikornbank and Krung Thai Bank as lead arrangers of the bonds. The subscription period will be July 20 to 23.
The bonds carry an annual interest rate of 2.25 per cent and will mature in three years. The offer is limited at Bt2 billion.
