Bangkok International Hospital, Thailand's leading specialty facility for bone and brain care, has expanded its international market reach while launching advanced Revision Services to address complex corrective orthopedic and spinal conditions.

During the first half of 2026, the hospital achieved over 20% growth in its expatriate patient base, driven primarily by patients from the United States, Europe, and China, alongside sustained growth across the GCC region over the past seven years.

Concurrently, the hospital's Bangkok Academy of Sports and Exercise Medicine (BASEM) reported more than 40% revenue growth, reflecting surging demand for sports injury prevention, treatment, and physical rehabilitation.

Reinforcing its regional reputation, the medical center was recognized by Newsweek and Statista as one of the Best Specialized Hospitals Asia Pacific 2026—marking its third consecutive year of recognition in Orthopedics and its fourth consecutive year in Neurology.

The newly launched Revision Services program provides specialized corrective care for patients experiencing persistent pain, implant failure, or postoperative complications following surgeries performed elsewhere

Spine Revision Services: Led by Dr. Chaidej Sasomboon, Administrative Assistant of the Center of Excellence for Orthopedics, the unit treats Failed Back Surgery Syndrome (FBSS), recurrent disc herniation, spinal nonunion, and implant failure.

Complex Orthopedics & Trauma: Directed by Dr. Vajara Phiphobmongkol, Director of the Orthopedic Center, this division manages periarticular and pelvic fractures, nonunion and malunion fractures, as well as complex hand, foot, ankle, and tendon reconstructions.
