Thai and Japanese Senior Pros Unite for 2026 Mini Pro-Am

Thai Senior PGA hosts a Mini Pro-Am to foster ties between Thai and Japanese golfers ahead of the Sunward Senior Championship season opener at Legacy GC.

Mr. Sutin Darunyothin, President of the Thai Senior Professional Golf Association (TSPGA), officially kicked off the 2026 season with a Mini Pro-Am tournament on February 15, 2026. Held at the Legacy Golf Club, the event served as a friendly precursor to the Sunward Senior Championship Sekiva Cup, which features a 1.5 million THB purse.

The tournament brought together legendary Thai pros, including Prayad Marksaeng, Thammanoon Sriroj, and Udon Duangdecha, alongside Japanese senior professionals and Thai celebrities such as "Pancake" Khemanit Jamikorn and "Tao" Sattaphong Phiangphor. The initiative aimed to strengthen international sporting ties and provide a platform for cultural exchange through the game of golf.

Prize: 17,500 THB each

Following the successful friendly match, the TSPGA held an official press conference for the 2026 Thai Senior Tour on February 16 at the Rama Gardens Hotel to outline the upcoming season's schedule and objectives.
