
He noted that politicians may have realised that. The government decided to postpone parliamentary vetting on charter amendment bills while parliament passed the first-round vetting on the draft revision to the anti-corruption law which would improve Thailand's image in the global stage though not yet pull the Kingdom out of the Financial Action Task Force on Money Laundering (FATF).
"By delaying some bills, they know that they should be slow. It's unknown how the final answer would be," he said.
He noted that political conflicts would prevent concrete remedies to problems, which include amendments to laws which are hindering the private sector's growth. Many national problems require political supports, as the private sector lacks such power, he added.
