DHL Express, the world’s leading international express services provider, has been named 2017’s “Best Employer in Thailand” by Aon Hewitt, a leading global professional services firm.

Noting this was the third time DHL Express Thailand had won this award, the company said it proved “success in sustaining a high level of employee development and engagement, leadership effectiveness, remarkable employer brand and a high-performance culture”.
A panel of judges studied how Thai organisations help empower their employees to create a competitive advantage. The study focused on a data-driven approach derived from four core elements: employee engagement, compelling employer brand, effective leadership, and a culture that enables high performance. The Aon Hewitt 2017 study shows that the best employers lead the way with a 22 point-higher engagement score and 30 point-higher percentage of employees who would recommend their company to someone seeking work.
Chananyarak Phetcharat, managing director of DHL Express Thailand said, “We are honoured to receive this recognition for the third time from Aon Hewitt.
“It serves as proof that our workforce is not only productive and delivers effective business results, but also embraces the best and most diverse of talents essential in driving business performance across the country and creating a robust workforce that can survive the digital eras of the present and future.”
“The 2016 Global Workforce Study by Willis Towers Watson showed that the top driver for employee engagement is the relationship between employees and leadership.
“In today’s modern workforce, employees are more varied, multi-faceted and demand great leadership more than ever before. At DHL, we have built a strong foundation of leadership culture that profoundly cultivates leadership qualities in our people, using the principles of ‘respect and results’ and ‘leading with head, heart and guts’,” added Chananyarak
