Krung Thai Asset sees Thai economy growing 4.5% in second half
Krung Thai Asset Management Plc vice president for investment strategy Dr Somchai Amornthum on Monday forecast that the country’s economy would grow by 4.5 per cent in the second half of this year.
Although trade competition between the United States and China would affect Thai exports, demand from Europe and others countries would continue to increase, he said.
Meanwhile investment in infrastructure mega-projects would spur domestic consumption growth.
