Gold price holds steady
The price of gold remained unchanged at the close of markets on Friday (March 6), the Gold Traders Association reported.
At 5.04pm, the buying price of a gold bar was Bt24,900 per baht weight and the selling price Bt25,000
gold ornaments were Bt24,453.08 to buy and Bt25,500 to sell.
At Thursday’s close, a gold bar was Bt24,450 to buy and Bt24,550 to sell, and gold ornaments Bt24,013.44 to buy and Bt25,050 to sell.
Comex futures gold contracts increased by US$25 to $1,668 (Bt52,518.50) per ounce at Thursday’s close as investors turned to safe-haven assets amid Covid-19 worries.
