A total of 4,846 people have been killed during the 92 months of southern insurgency, the Deep South Watch reported.
The Deep South Watch said 1,857 Buddhists and 2,858 Muslims were killed from January 2004 to August 2011. It said the religion of 131 other victims was unknown.
It said 11,074 violent incidents happened during the 92 months period.
The insurgency saw 7,995 people injured - 4,854 Buddhists, 2616 Muslims and 525 people whose religion was not identified.
