Interior Ministry permanent secretary seconded to PM's Office

Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has seconded Interior Ministry Permanent Secretary Wichian Chavalit to a position at the PM's Office.

Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Yongyuth Wichaidit said the transfer took immediate effect.

Yongyuth said he has appointed Phranai Suwannarat, a deputy permanent secretary, as acting permanent secretary.

Yongyuth said Wichian would later be appointed as the secretary-general of the Integrated Water Solution Management Commission.

Yongyuth said after Wichian is formally appointed the secretary-general of the commission, Phranai would be formally appointed the Interior Ministry permanent secretary.
