Citing the department’s survey result on October 5, he said the provinces included Nakhon Sawan with 52 affected factories covering 1,620 workers, Uthai Thani with 391 affected factories covering 3,549 workers, Prachin Buri with 11 affected factories covering 5,086 workers, Lop Buri with 23 affected factories covering 5,773 workers, and Ayutthaya with 349 affected factories covering 20,000 workers. Ayutthaya also saw floodwater threaten to submerge the 198factory Rojana Industrial Park with 42,100 workers yesterday. Factories hence were hastily piling up flood barriers.
