Ecco joins labour assistance scheme
Ecco (Thailand) Co Ltd is joining the "Friends help Friends" project, to help unemployed workers.
According to Labour Protection and Welfare Department director-general Arthit Isamo, Ecco (Thailand) will join the "Friends help Friends" scheme by recruiting 3,800 workers from flood-affected areas. The employment will last 3 months.
On Oct 18, the department had a discussion with business operators in Samut Prakan, Chon Buri and Chachoengsao, to promote the scheme as over 200,000 workers in flood-hit provinces are at risks of losing jobs.
