An emergency House meeting has been called from tomorrow to Thursday to discuss the flood crisis.
Deputy Speaker Charoen Chankomol said yesterday that the session would consider urgent motions on ways to solve the flood problem and help the flood victims that were submitted by Pheu Thai MP for Khon Kaen Suchai Srisupol.
It would also take up the motion from Democrat MP for Trang Sathit Wongnongtoey to address the flood and landslide disaster.
The flooding in Bangkok was not expected to be a hindrance for the gathering.
“House Speaker Somsak Kiatsuranont will monitor the situation and will order a postponement of the meeting if necessary,” he said.
