Cabinet appoints new Local Administration chief

The Cabinet Tuesday approved the appointment of a new director-general of the Local Administration Department as proposed by the Interior Ministry.
Weerayuth Iamampha, an inspector-general of the minister, was promoted to the position of LAD director-general.
Weerayuth will replace Kwanchai Wongnitikorn, who will become a deputy permanent secretary for Interior Ministry.
