Wall St ends mixed in thin trade

U.S. stocks closed flat in a thin post-Christmas trade.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 2.65 points, or 0.02 per cent at 12,291.35
The S&P 500 rose 0.10 points, or 0.01 per cent at 1,265.43.
Among key S&P sectors, financials declined, while utilities gained.
The Nasdaq composite gained 6.56 points, or 0.25 per cent at 2,625.20.
