Udorn was found dead at a PTT petrol station with eight shots in the head from this type of gun.
Pol Colonel Jamraeng Sudjai, superintendent of Samut Sakhon Police Station, said yesterday that all seven persons who had this type of gun registered to them would be called in for interrogation.
Police would also inspect Democrat MP Khanchit Thabsuwan’s car after he surrendered on Tuesday as the sole suspect in Sunday’s fatal shooting of Udorn. Khanchit at the time denied charges of premeditated murder.
Jamraeng said police would seek more information about the case from witnesses.
Some had contacted police to volunteer information, saying they had not come forward earlier because they feared for their safety.
Police have sent a letter to Speaker Somsak Kiatsuranont asking the House of Representatives to submit Khanchit to the judicial process.
Khanchit cannot be detained by authorities during a House session because he has an MP’s constitutional immunity.
The House will vote on whether his immunity should be stripped.
