Abhisit: PM should review Nalinee's appointment

Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva on Friday called for a review on PM's Office Minister Nalinee Taveesin, saying the controversial appointment would tarnish the country's image.
“The prime minister should review the issue since a ministerial appointment is not just a constitutional matter but must be appropriate as well,” he said.
Abhisit was commenting on the United States visa blacklist of Nalinee, accused of violating the American embargo against Zimbabwe’s President Robert Mugabe.
He said PM Yingluck Shinawatra should choose her ministers who are qualified without restrictions. Nalinee may be qualified but faced certain restrictions.
