NACC sets deadline for Suthep, Abhisit to testify in March

Former prime minister Abhisit Vejjajiva and former deputy prime minister Abhisit Vejjajiva are required to testify to the National Anti-Corruption Commission in March over the crackdowns on red-shirt protesters in 201, an NACC member said Monday.
Wicha Mahakhun said Abhisit and Suthep, who was former director of the Centre for Resolution of the Emergency Situation, have earlier postponed their testimony so the NACC asked them to testify in March.
Wichai said the NACC has yet to set the date for the two’s testimony. Abhisit and Suthep were accused of abusing their authority when ordering the crackdowns.
