Pregnant workers hurt in bus crash

More than 30 pregnant workers from Seagate Technology (Thailand) were injured yesterday when a company shuttle bus overturned in Nakhon Ratchasima's Sung Noen district.

The accident on Mittraphap Road injured 36 people – 35 of them pregnant passengers – and the driver.
They were rushed to Sung Noen Hospital.
Driver Thongsuk Kerdsuk, 38, was taking 40 pregnant workers back to their homes in the afternoon, but the bus’ drag link that connects with the steering wheel broke. He was unable to control the bus and it overturned.
