Investigation into Fice Place fire continues

Police on Wednesday continued their investigation into Saturday's fire at the Fico Place building in Soi Sukhumvit 21 and interviewed the tenants in a bid to determine the real cause of fire, which damaged the building's 7 th 9th floors.
Metropolitan Police deputy chief Pol Maj Gen Anuchai Lekbamrung said the team of investigators was continuing to collect testimonies from company representatives renting space in the 13storey building.
The police were also waiting for the Scientific Crime Detection Division’s test results. Once these were received, police would be able to determine the real cause of fire, whether the result of recklessness or an accident, and have the evidence to arrest a wrongdoer, if applicable.
