Sanan urges Chalerm to delay reconciliation bill deliberation

Chart Thai Pattana Party chief advisor Sanan Kachornprasart Monday called on Deputy Prime Minister Chalerm Yoobamrung to delay the sending of a reconciliation bill to the House.

Sanan said Chalerm should wait for the House committee on national reconciliation, which is headed by Matubhum party-list MP Sonthi Boonyaratglin, to submit its proposal on reconciliation before sending the bill to the House.
Chalerm would cause more confusion to the public if he submits his version of reconciliation bill to the House now, Sanan said.
Sanan added that Chalerm should also wait for the Truth for Reconciliation Commission of Thailand (TRCT) to submit its recommendations to the government first.
