Yaowapha Wongsawat, a sister of former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, has asked a Pheu Thai MP to stop campaigning against Pheu Thai's Social Development and Human Security Minister Santi Prompat.

A party source said Yaowapha held a meeting with Pheu Thai MP Prawat Uttamote and Prawat’s friends at the Pheu Thai head office at 11 am, telling Prawat to stop campaigning against Santi.
Prawat and his friends, who are other Pheu Thai MPs, have been gathering signatures of MPs to seek to check the performance of Santi after Santi removed Panida Kampu na Ayutthaya as the permanent secretary for Social Development and Human Security. She was transferred to an inactive position at the PM’s Office.
Yaowapha told Prawat to “let bygone be bygone” and “stop destroying the party”, the source said.
The source said Prawat agreed to stop his campaign.
