A redfaced Democrat Party MP, a son of former party leader Banyat Bantadtan, Thursday admitted that he accidentally viewed a pornographic picture during a parliamentary meeting on Wednesday.

Nat Bantadtan admitted he had used his mobile phone to look at a porn image during the meeting to deliberate the charter amendment bill.
The picture of Nat watching the picture on his mobile phone was widely distributed among Facebook users. Nat was caught viewing the photo at almost the same time as a porn image was accidentally shown on a monitor inside the assembly hall.
Nat told the parliamentary meeting Thursday he was the MP whose picture had been distributed among members of social networking sites.
Nat said his friends always sent or tagged photos to him for check and that sometimes, they sent photos just to tease him. He said he opened the picture simply to check what it was and closed it immediately after seeing it. He said it was a picture from his friend and was sent to tease him.
Nat held a press conference at 10 am, saying he did not intend to view the photo. He said his friends and assistants always tagged Facebook photos and used the What’s App application to send photos to his smart phone. He said he checked the photo and it turned out to be a pornographic one.
On Wednesday, while parliamentary lawmakers were hotly debating the charter amendment bill, a porn picture popped up on a projection screen.
During the meeting, Bhum Jai Thai MP Sanong Thepaksornnarong alerted Parliament President Somsak Kiartsuranon to a scene of girls in bikinis striking sexy poses that had accidentally appeared on the screen.
The picture was shown for five seconds then blacked out and redisplayed three times.
