Tarit declines to reply to Suthep's attack

The Department of Special Investigation will not reply to a Democrat's critique opposition the dropping of lese majeste charge involving Pheu Thai MP Jatuporm Promphan, DSI director general Tarit Pengdith said Wednesday.

“Democrat Suthep Thaugsuban was once the DSI’s political overseer, so I will not talk back to my former boss,” he said.
Tarit said although he respected Suthep, the DSI drew conclusion on the Jatuporn case based on evidence collected from the investigation.
Suthep, in his capacity as the then deputy prime minister supervising the DSI, questioned why Tarit appeared to have shifted his stand following the change of government.
