Thump-up for first day of budget debate: whips

Coalition and opposition whips on Tuesday voiced satisfaction for the orderly conduct of MPs from both benches yesterday, the first day of the budget debate.
“The debate is going well. There is no snide, no protest and no disorderly conduct on the House floor,” chief coalition whip Udomdej Rattanasatien said.
Udomdej said he was optimistic that the debate would progress and conclude in the orderly manner within the three-day deadline.
