Democrats charge top DSI officials for lapse of duty

Democrat MPs, led by Suthep Thaugsuban, on Wednesday called for the National Anti Corruption Commission to look into the dropping of royal insult charges in connection with a probe into the alleged conspiracy to topple the monarchy.

The Democrats petition singled out top two officials of Department of Special Investigation, director general Tarit Pengdith and his deputy Pravesana Mulpramook, for lapse of duty in their enforcement of the lese majeste law.
Suthep said he wanted the NACC to probe the two officials on two separate cases.
