Anti-Article 112 activists rally at Royal Plaza

The so-called Campaign Committee for Amendment of Article 112 and red-shirt people gathered at the Royal Plaza Tuesday morning to stage a march to Parliament to submit a bill to amend lese-majesty law.

They gathered at the Royal Plaza at 8:50 am and moved to Parliament at 9:40 am.
They carried with them boxes containing 26,968 names of eligible voters, who have given signatures to sponsor a bill to amend Article 112 of the Criminal Code.
The demonstrators were led by Charnwit Kasetsiri and Puangthong Pawakharaphan. Pheu Thai MP Prasit Chaisrisa came to the rally to express his moral support for the demonstrators.
