Wall St ends 4-day losing streak

U.S. shares posted modest gain in thin trade on better-than-expected service sector data, but the ongoing uncertainty in euro zone kept investors cautious.
Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 26.49 points, or 0.22 per cent, to close at 12,127.95, ending a four-day losing streak.
S&P 500 rose 7.32 points, or 0.57 per cent at 1,285.50. Most key S&P sectors finished higher, led by financials and materials, while telecoms slipped
Nasdaq added 18.10 points, or 0.66 percent, to close at 2,778.11.
