The chief of the anti-corruption network, Mongkholkit Suksitthanatharanont, said the petition was based on complaints from several businesses that had lost in the bidding process for school supplies. Democrat MP Watchara Phetthong, who is spokesperson of the House panel vetting the 2013 national budget, received the petition.
Mongkholkit also repeated his attack on Education Minister Suchart Tadathamrongvej for his policy on tea money, which resulted in the Bodindecha School students being expelled and the following hunger strike.
