Defence minister says he not object to his removal

Defence Minister ACM Sukampol Suwannathat said Monday that he would not mind if he would be removed from the Cabinet.

Speaking to a program of Spring News satellite TV, Sukampol said the prime minister would have the full say as to whether to remove him from the Cabinet.
Sukampol was commenting on speculations that he would be removed because he failed to respond to the government’s policies to seek tighter control of the armed forces.
“I have no problem about it no matter how the speculations were. A Cabinet reshuffle would depend on the prime minister. There will be no turmoil because of the reshuffle,” Sukampol said.
