Govt-sector teachers project seeks applicants

The Education Ministry will start accepting applications for its Professional Teachers Project next week. Successful applicants are guaranteed teaching jobs in the government sector upon graduation with a good grade.
“We will offer as many as 1,566 teaching positions for this project in fiscal year 2013,” Sriyada Palimaphan said Tuesday in her capacity as the chair of the committee tasked with selecting institutes and students for this project. She has also served as the secretary to Education Minister Suchart Tadathamrongvej.
“We have already concluded the selection criteria,” Sriyada said after emerging from a meeting Tuesday.
