NACC rejects complaints against Yaowapa

The antigraft agency Thursday resolved to reject a petition against former MP Yaowapa Wongsawat, a powerful figure in the ruling Pheu Thai Party.

The complaint alleged that she had submitted false financial statements to the The National AntiCorruption Commission (NACC).
The NACC decided to end its investigation into the allegations that she was unusually wealthy and hiding her wealth because no evidence was found to support the allegations, according to Professor Medhi Krongkaew, a member of the commission.
