Suthep's son surrenders to DSI

Tan Thaugsuban, son of Democrat Party secretary-general Suthep, Monday surrendered to the Department of Special Investigation to acknowledge charge of encroaching public land on Samui Island.

Tan met Pol Col Prawes Moolpramook, DSI deputy director, at 9:30 am to acknowledge charge that he had encroached on the Khao Paeng mountain.
Tan told reporters that he explained to the DSI that his five land plots on Samui Island did not encroach on the national forests as charged.
