NACC coach crash in Korat killed two and wounded many others

A coach carrying anti-graft agency staff heading for seminar at Khao Yai crashed on Mittraphap Road in Nakhon Ratchasima's Pak Chong district, killing three and injuring several others on Sunday.

The double-deck air conditioned coach, carrying staff and executives of the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), lost control and crashed into a drainage ditch near Chokchai Farm.

Three people - one man and two women - reportedly died immediately at the scene. One was the driver's wife and two others were of director rank at the NACC.

Some 20 people were injured, two were seriously and were sent to hospitals. According to the initial investigation, the bus was one of the three buses of the NACC taking the staff to a seminar at Khao Yai National Park.

The bus was travelling at high speed when it lost control at a curve and crashed into the ditch.
