Thai students win 3 gold, silver, bronze medals at Physics Olympiad

Thai students snared three gold, one silver and one bronze medals at the 43rd International Physics Olympiad in Estonia.
The three gold medallists were Paphop Sawasdee from Triam Udom Suksa School, who was also recognised as attaining the sixth highest score, Natthanan Tantiwasadakan from Suankularb Wittayalai School and Puthipong Worasaran from Mahidol Wittayanusorn School.
The silver medal went to Pongsapak Sawasdirak from Triam Udom Suksa and the bronze to Supanut Thanasilp from Mahidol Wittayanusorn.
The competition from July 1524 drew 378 students from 81 countries. A Hungarian student was able to get the highest score, followed by two students from China and two from Taiwan.
